Join Emma Shansky in this new, unique class! Learn how to translate your Pilates knowledge of core stability and proper alignment into both daily and more challenging functional movement. This class is appropriate for students seeking to improve their strength and mobility through complex and vigorous bodyweight training. Participants must be open-minded, injury-free and prepared to put weight on their hands.
You can explore you movement abilities with Emma every Monday at 6pm, Wednesday at 430pm, and Thursday at 7pm
Meet Leah Wrobel
Teaching yoga since 2003 in the USA and internationally, Leah is devoted to practicing and teaching. Certified in Kripalu, Vijnana, and Prenatal Yoga, Leah has studied in Europe, India, Israel and the USA. Also being trained extensively in other styles of Yoga she draws from her background as a professional contemporary dancer as well. In her classes and workshops Leah is committed to providing a space for focus and healing. She thoroughly enjoys sharing her passion for growing the body's wisdom.
About Pelvic Floor Health Workshop...
Relating in a deep way to our pelvic floor muscles supports healing, facilitates a better understanding of our body, and increases sensation, muscle tone, and function. This workshop will focus on increasing pelvic awareness through slow and intentional movements and guided breath. A holistic and balanced approach will allow students to move and experience familiar postures in a new way.

St. Patricks Day is just around the corner and the New Haven Annual Parade will be Sunday, March 12th! Even though it starts at 1:30pm, just be aware that things will be busy in downtown New Haven and plan accordingly if you are coming to the 9am mat class or if you are coming in for a private session.
