This meditation workshop will move through various guided meditation sessions, including breath awareness, open awareness meditation, loving, kindness practice, and deep relaxation. Participants can sit on cushions or chairs as your body allows. Further, we will practice seated, walking and reclining postures during course of meditation. The workshop will include instruction on ways to work with difficult emotions and obsessive thinking. The overall goal is to provide you with the tools to learn how to establish and sustain a daily meditation practice that will work for you and ways to enhance mindfulness in daily life.
No prior experience in meditation required. Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.
